Sorry if this has already been answered but I'm a bit paranoid this wont fit. Looking at a 17x9 wheel with a +42 or +45 offset and a 245/40/17 tire with stock struts and RCE yellows. Will I have rubbing issues in the front? Would dropping to a 17x8 work better or will the tire be my issue?

Thanks in advance!

close call. I'll keep 17x9 but drop to 235/40 tires.

Is anyone running the 16x6.5 stock wheels from the older WRX on their BRZ?

Seems like they would be a good choice to run a narrower winter tire, they fit newer WRXes so I think they'd be fine with us, but wanted to check.

Based on searching, it sounds like they are 16x6.5, 53mm offset, 16.5 lbs, so they'd be a little more tucked in compared to stock, but by less of an amount than they are narrower than stock, so I don't think there would be rubbing issues.

I am looking at getting a set of Volk GTS wheels. I need some help/advice on the size and options. First let me explain my goal with the car and go from there. I'm planning on dropping it on RCE springs and Koni yellows. Over the next couple months I'll be buying all the various supporting mods with the supercharger being bought in the September time frame and tuned. I'll be using it for DD, lot's of spirited driving and after I've spent some time learning the car possibly some track use. With that being said my confusion is what to run. Unfortunately I can only find the GTS's confirmed in 19x8 5x100. I am waiting to hear back from a company that may have 18x8 5x100 which I'd prefer for tire price's sake. Based on my power goals I'm thinking I am ultimately gonna need a wider wheel. I can get them wider in 5x114 but I'll have to run an adapter, but it will free up various widths and offsets. I've expressed my function concerns, my form is flush with no tuck and no poke. So I'm looking for some knowledgeable input based on my wants and needs for the car, any help would be appreciated.

Supercharger type?
Estimated power output?
Torque curve?
Aftermarket LSD?
Staggered or square setup?
S tire or R tire?

Happy to help. Need more data.

Looking at getting the Vortech setup with Flex Fuel option tuned. I don't exactly have a specific HP or Torque goal other than to have it tuned safely running as much psi efficiently as I can. I hadn't planned on swapping out the stock LSD as of yet. I would prefer the square but depending on what the opinions are of my setup I'm open to suggestions. I'll be going with a street tire. If I eventually make my way to track or autox I would end up getting a seperate set of wheels for track setup.
