Last I checked it was 8 weeks when I ordered mine in December, should be a bit shorter now that there are fewer people lined up to get one. Canada may have a slightly different allotment, if you call Scion customer service you might be able to get an estimate from them.

Worst case scenario is your dealer jerks you around to try and sell you one with more options, keep an eye out for the car you want, it may appear, the deposit should be fully refundable.

Thanks for the advice man, I might have to do that. Although Im not all that worried about them up selling me, considering I kinda went all out on it already hahaha... It feels good to be bad.

Honestly dude I can totally relate, despite the fact that Im now technically an owner of one. Owning a car like this was a pipe dream for me for so long, ask me 2 years ago if I could picture myself in a sick little car like this, and I would have laughed at you. Things changed with my job situation, and now something that seemed impossible is currently underway.

It still feels like the universe is going to swoop in and correct itself before something this cool happens, because it seems like there's a serious lack of balance happening over here!

And I agree the "second" car option would be best, especially considering the harsh winters where Im from, but its not in the cards for me at the moment. I'll buy a 4x4 truck of some sort eventually, but my FRS is definitely going to see a winter or two.
should be fine with proper snow tires.

My FRS came with the all season Bridgestone tires and it was surprisingly not that bad in the snow. I'll eventually get dedicated snow tires once these wear down but it is definitely a doable daily driving in the snow.

Mine came with Michelin Primacy tires.
Yeah it's all about how you drive in bad weather conditions more than anything else.

Just got a call from the dealership. 2 red, MT FRS's just arrived in Vancouver, and they managed to snag one for me!!!

They're being loaded on the rail today and are en route to Ontario. I'll be in my new FRS in 2 weeks time, give or take. Oh happy day

Good work. No relationship should ever dictate your passion for vehicle ownership.
Maybe it will for you one day, but for now have fun.

Well I'd have had it yesterday, but now I'm in a loaner because they're putting that nice Xpel paint protectant film on it this morning.

My current girlfriend hates my FR-S. If it comes down to it, I'm getting rid of her before the car.
