I apply both opti coat pro and finest, and they both have there place. I've done 2 finest jobs for forum members on this forum. I'm sure you could ask either and they will tell you their thoughts. I've had both on my wife's murano since finest was released in the US. Here's the differences. Opti coat, last forever, finest - 1 layer will last 2+ years, but any finest installer is required to apply 2 layers which will last well beyond 2 years. Finest stays cleaner longer, slicker to the touch if you care about that kinda stuff. If your looking to keep your car looking perfect, somewhere around the 2 year mark your going to be doing a light polish to remove wash induced swirls, so either coating will do. If you could care less about the way your car looks and only want long term protection opti coat is the way to go.

Here's pics of both the finest frs's I've done.

And here's pics of my wife's murano. Drivers side has finest, passenger side opti coat pro.

2 weeks after install

Foamed

And here's a recent pic after about 6 months of it on my wife's. finest side still staying cleaner.

Look at the dirty water spot concentration. More white dots on the passenger side. You should also be able to see the tape line in the middle with zero protection.

both these products are essentially clear coat for your clear coat...Does not protect againt rockchips or any other shananigens like that.

If i were to ever put a "Nano-Sealent" on my car i would go with c-quartz much better product
I wonder who did that for him.....,. I think I've done enough installs to know which one the FT86 guys in my area like!

That'd be you! if detailing and waxing my car with paste wax wasnt stress relieving threapy with me i would probably get cquartz put on. Jason's hood looked good for what he had told me hes run it through still looked real clear minus a couple almost trailrash looking scratches. Quartz holds a much better shine than the opticoat.

you do some beautiful work Jay! Im getting there other than the sealents and steam cleaning. pretty comfortable with my flex!

Looks really good. I wanna thank Bryan, for Opti-Coating my wifes FJ Cruiser which i'm sure takes a bit more time then our small cars!

Thanks Bryan, I hope to do business again soon.

Just had my raven c quartz finest treated. Vlad from upperclassdetailing in Ottawa done a fantastic job. Looks awesome. I am garage storing and not driving in the winter so coating should last more than 2 years imo.
