you need an ECU Tune. Other then this, the stock fuel system and engine handle E85 just fine.

e85 is rated at ~105 octane I believe (I could be wrong). The main advantage of e85 over gasoline is that it gives better cooling properties over gasoline, allowing more timing & boost safer.

John says to expect 30-40whp more with this kit over 93. I'd be curious to see what this car puts down on pump gas though for comparisons sake.

This is my understanding of e85 as well.

Also, since e85 doesn't have as much energy as 93 octane, the price difference becomes a moot point when considering mpgs.

Yea, I just have a hard time swallowing 325whp on 12 psi of 93 when the 10 psi kits put down 240-255. It wouldn't make sense ya know?

I absolutely agree, that's why I'd like to see what this car puts down on pump.

So a NA car could be tuned to E85. So wouldn't that car as result be able to put down more power just because of that?

Yes. I put down 203whp on NA with I/E/Tune on E85 and 186-188 on 93 with the same setup.

And we are not seeing any major hit(not that I care) in mpg? I hear that these cars tuned to E85 maintain pretty much the same mileage. Is that true?

I'm going to disregard the "technically should" of the "science" document I read with regards to E85.
