I second the brake duct benefits testing...

I would also love to see testing of 4.5/4.7 final drives and aluminum drive shaft benefits....

I wonder if the oil cooler placement is contributing to the heat problem. IIRC the AZ car mentioned above no longer had the oil cooler in front of the radiator and intercooler.
Well I don't think placing a large intercooler in front of the radiator then an oil cooler in front of that is most efficient overall. Generally the car runs cooler in clean air. For track days its mostly a non issue, except for oil temp. But even in stock for its the idling like in an autox situation where you see temps get out of hand fast in terms on air intake temps and coolant. The under tray and sealed up engine bay make it very hard on the cooling system even in stock form. Add a blower as mentioned for a track/street car it is my belief as CSGMike this car needs a beefed up radiator, oil cooler and some type of hood ventilation, hood ventilation being key to help in idling situations. But that has trade offs as well for daily driving.

From what I've seen it's only been on dynos that people saw oil temps go high enough to sacrifice some HP, but theres a whole lot more airflow at speed on track. I haven't seen anyone say they NEEDED an oil cooler after a day on track.
With a quality oil that can handle the heat, the engine isn't in any sort of danger. We run 300V, and I think our rather excessive tracking is testament to the oil. We're currently at 12000 miles (a lot of track miles) on our oil! We'll be sending it in to Blackstone for analysis soon

However, because the oil is getting hot, the ECU is reducing output...

I really dislike tooting our own horn, but NASA HPDE4 (and 3) drivers are not quite at our pace. The CSG BRZ classes NASA TTD with plenty of points to spare, and we run faster than a lot of those records. I'd love to put that car through a rigorous test. If the owner is willing to come to Chuckwalla Valley Raceway on 5/4, we will cover his track day entry in exchange for letting us run a session or two with his car.

Hopefully, we'll be able to get some manufacturer backing for the things you guys want to see tested.
I would love to see a comparison and test of a variety of similarly sized front swaybars from different manufacturers (Strano, Perrin, Whiteline, Cusco, etc).
