To the best of my knowledge, his RX-8 isn't caged. I think he's looking at caging a FR-S/BRZ though.

OK so they fixed the vented rear disc part on the basic one. That makes it hugely more believable as I couldn't see them removing something the cheaper FR-S had while charging more for, what is otherwise, the same exact car as the FR-S except with steel wheels and HIDs..

The premium is going to be a REALLY hard sell if MT is correct (some of those specs do vary with the original reports, and vary against some of the test drives which claimed 18" wheels on the limited).

More money for basically the FR-S with HIDs and Navigation.. I'd venture a bet that very few people would buy that car.. you are paying thousands more (likely) for HIDs.. doesn't make sense, you can do FXR bixenon retrofits over a weekend for significantly less than that.. and most likely have far superior lighting..

According to that I was right on my brake guess earlier (one of the options), WRX front, Legacy GT rear rotors. And sadly, they are forcing me to the damn limited just for the seats.. 27k is going to be a very hard pill to swallow for this car. Make the nav optional and sell it for 25.5 instead and I'll put a deposit down tomorrow.
