glad to hear there are insane and nice people left in this world, good story OP

By doing what you did and acting the way you did, you may well have given all the other FR-S owners in your area a "get out of jail free" card, or at least a little leniency for minor infractions. You're building good-will between cops and car guys. You are part of the solution, and not just another part of the problem. You rock.

That right there is what I try and emphasize to my club.. While everyone goes out sometimes and disobeys some laws.. We have a big ass club sticker on our windshield, act like a dumb ass drifting around every stop light, you never know if the guy in the Camry is a off duty police, and next time he sees one of us, instead of giving us a break at 6 over the limit, he tickets us because he thinks we are like the ****s that drive stupid every chance they get..

I believe I've gotten out of some tickets that were deserved just for showing respect and saying yeah you caught me.. Though I never admit shit lol, not giving the cop a hard time goes a lot farther then being a **** because he is the popo and you broke the law and he is doing his job..

If I ever get pulled over by a cop, my first reaction would be like "Wana drive my car?"

That was epic. I would let a stranger sit in the passenger seat while I drive, but not let them actually drive lol. Kudos

I had an event like this posted somewhere on the forum. I ended up getting to drive his Rx8 afterwards!

For someone who is truly interested, the least you can do is offer them a ride.

Cops are just people with a different job nothing more, nothing to be weirded out by? But hey cool you let someone try your car.
