So I let a cop drive my FRS....

Long story short, I went for a cruise around town, and I had to fill up with some gas. I pull into a the station, and I notice some guy gawking at my car from his Scion xB.
As I was filling up, he walks over and is mesmerized by the looks of the car. I tell him to go ahead and sit in it, and he tells me that him and his wife were considering buying one. I saw a sweet opportunity to make his day, so I threw him the keys and said lets go for a ride.
So we scheme up a little bit and we drive to his house, and pretended that he just bought an FRS and that I was the dealer. She had to get her contacts at first, but when she sat in the car, she said she liked it. Then he tells her that he was just joking and that I had let him drive the car from the gas station where we had met at.
We took the car along some twisties and the look on his face was priceless.
So we get back to the gas station, exchange numbers and he tells me that he is a cop. My eyes get big and I'm thinking uh-oh....... But then he said if I ever have a run-in with the local police that all I need to do is mention his name and I should be let off the hook.....
He was a pretty awesome dude!

How awesome is that?

Oh and by the way, I referred him to the forums.

You got some balls for letting a stranger drive your car, big balls.

I'd do that if i had a project car, but since this is my only car...i wouldn't.

Big thumb-up to you with great balls on letting someone to drive the car. Him being a cop is just icing on the cake.

I think like the owners of the twins are more like evangelists to preach out the general public of how great the twins are.

Honestly, that's what I call a cool story bro. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copy and pasted it to word, saved on my hard drive, backed it up on a jump drive, drove to the bank, put the jump drive in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 12 (when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I'm showing them), when I will pick it up, put it in an old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them, "kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like...not like the stories your generation tells."

Wow, I'm glad this had a better ending than I had anticipated-

"Guy is looking at my car, so I tell him to sit in it. He snatches the keys, drives away, and steals my car and my Slurpee. I then get explosive diarrhea."
