Only way to find out... I'm down to buy a 2nd set of coilovers, just not kw's for a 3rd time in my life. And they were valved by someone in affiliation with Stance, as the owner did a lot of praising to them.
Edit: I'll order them in about a week or so..

i've been thinking about getting GC coilovers too, but have been also thinking about getting the buddy club racing spec coilovers since evasive is offering them for 1350. anyone care to chime in for a dd-er / weekend warrior? i can handle stiff suspension, just not sure if 9k/7k is ideal for the frs still. i've heard good things about it, but would it be worth shelling out my money for a car that will be taken to the track and occasionally going to drift events?

I'm continuing to research and I hear HSD are very good. Esp for it price. Only bad side I hear is that it's not rebuild-able, but I don't think that matters if I'm DDing the car 95% of the time, with the other 5% just spirited driving.
What do you guys think? |

Sorry for jumping the wagon... So what's the best rebuildable coilover complete with the camber top for under $1500 ?

i think the bottom line is that if you plan to drop the car 2", the daily driveability is going to be compromised at this price level. if you can live with a mild drop, there are spring only options that will more than serve that purpose and be much more affordable.

Oh, you can also Build your own set of "Ground Controls"
just get some koni yellows, lowering springs, and adjustable perch. But i would still rather just buy GC |

my goal is to get rid of the wheel gap on 18s, so maybe a 1.5-2" drop. unfortunately the buddyclubs only go to 1"
anything else i should be looking at around the $1500 mark for a guy who mostly dds but with the occasional canyon/track maybe once a month or something

That being said, the same statement could be made about a LOT of brands that are popular on this board... |

In your price range? Honestly, just a set of lowering springs. You can buy a used set of OEM shocks for very cheap when your shocks blow out. Suspension geometry correction may be out of budget based on your suspension choices. If you're not doing any spirited driving, you probably wouldn't notice.

i think ego gets in the way of a lot of people getting what they want/need and this is how the market responds in order to keep these products around. |
