What coilovers would go well with the agency power LCA?

You always want to set up your car for the harshest/worst case scenario they will ever see. This is why the car comes with airbags; you never want to USE them, but they're there when you need em. Harshest/worst case scenario.

Spending a little more coin will go a long way in getting you that extra handling you're looking for.

So you're saying Stance(brand) coilovers are completely useless for any sort of spirited or motorsports driving? Lol...

The OEM suspension will be better than any sub 1k coilover setup.

Go for it. Just don't be surprised if the 15 knob adjustments actually don't do anything to the damper.

while i would imagine that the damping less than ideal and actual working adjustment knobs tend to cost more than the entire set of coilovers, i do think that they have the potential to make your car faster around a racetrack. its not ideal and there are better ways to spend that money, but i think can improve cornering speeds.

taking things off a car usually mean that they are used. its quite possible that a new stance set will function better than a used kw. as far as overall quality, i have a hard time believing that a company outsourcing coilovers to some factory in taiwan is going to be able to offer the product, quality control and development of a company that conducts all of its business in the same company. just look at the racing pedigree of the companies (i know everyone has to start somewhere but still). i have never seen a car win a single race on stance coilovers.

They still had less then 3500 miles on them... Not to mention the terrible adjustment rings/retaining hardware etc.

http://www.racingjunk.com/NASA-Super...o-run-ST3.html <-stance no?

Also have some pro am sponsored guys who win pretty often, don't know if that's your thing...

I've never ran Stance coilovers, but you guys get ridiculous sometimes... Open your minds sometimes shit...

We're talking about off-the-shelf Stance coilovers, not stuff that have been re-valved. Two completely different dampers.

that vette looks serious. without taking anything away from that i urge you to look at what kw has been doing over the years. im not trying to talk down on stance in particular. i just dont see companies in general offering the right things at that price point.

also i remember seeing the stance coilovers having the same rates as the ones that come on the impreza which could suggest that there was little research done outside of figuring out how to physically fit impreza units on an frs. thats a real red flag to me considering how different the suspensions, let alone the cars all together, are when looking at the frs and impreza

im not acting like im above this. up until now, i have never bought a shock that didnt come with a shock dyno. right now im between careers and want to keep this miata budget so i can really spend the money getting to the track. i can only imagine what i am giving up but i feel that at this point i will gain more speed with an extra thousand in track time instead of in coilovers.

No, we're talking about outsourced Taiwanese in general... You do know they have other ots coilovers right? Don't know what names they go based off now but I've seen quite plenty of fast Evo's and sti's out in Topeka, Tulsa, Chicago, and bumb fuck nowhere on GR+/pros, winning... It's still the same Taiwanese crap everyone that buys kw's claiming how much of a hardcore track whore they are flames on.

Also, I've ran kw's on 2 cars... Both not great experiences... Customer service really sucked

I would get GC. They are the best at that price range.
But Feal and fortune auto would come in 2nd place.
How does stock FA spring compare to the swift spring upgrade?

i think the point here is that the vette you bring up (which im sure is fast), is probably not valved by stance or the people building their coilovers. most any anecdotal evidence is going to have many variables so i try to stick to what i know works. if i was a betting man, i would guess the ots kw is faster and more comfortable than the entry level stance we are talking about. i guess thats to be expected with that price difference.
