how is it rice? as a passenger i like the floor leds, lexus does it, when i drop something while traveling in the passenger seat, soft colored leds make finding things easier and the outside lights are just puddle lights... its not a civic trying to be a 50k luxury car kinda thing

I'd just like to re-quote this for truth considering all the complaining about how items taken off of the FR-S would cost only "a few hundred extra". There is quite a bit more than just bare material costs in a part!

Hmm, BRZ-TR with no stereo or a/c?

Otherwise I'm in for the premium, but as others have said I don't want the nav.

No Brembos.. oh nooooooooooooeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzz!

I would love for someone to explain why the car needs 4 pot brembos.

Subaru has stated officially that the US Spec BRZ will debut at Detroit but that doesn't technically mean that they can't release details of it before then.

This is an *UNOFFICIAL* source though so a huge grain of salt is required of course.

I only run an 8" in my good audio car currently.. it's plenty for me.

The 8" is being fed close to 400WRMS though :P

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the claimed weight. Where did the extra 100lbs come from?

While I don't see the point of lighting like they are talking about it's not as bad as if they were talking about huge body kits, 5' tall spoilers, 8" exhaust tips, strobes, etc. :P

Subaru's official weight was "averaged". We don't have an official weight really so there's not much point in discussing it.. it's been discussed/debated ad nauseam already..

True, its just going to suck if US spec bumpers etc add that much weight. I am hoping its the auto trans version that is a lot heavier. Thats what I am going to tell myself anyway until we get real numbers.

WOW, All I can say is I will kick some ass if this is the case. How dare the sti concept be shown first.
You said it, man. The production version of the BRZ doesn't even have the video camera wing mirrors!! I can't believe Subaru would show something on a concept car and then not include it on the production model! This is an outrage! I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau to report false advertising!!

Just to recap, since this thread jumped off topic. These aren't official prices correct? Just another quote from a "source" that isn't corroborated.

Thanks for finding that. $24k is awesome! With the Subaru VIP price it will probably be more like $22!!! That's incredible.

Source is the editor of MT's twitter, after he just got done driving it. Seems like as good a source as we're ever going to get until they release it oficially.

Awesome!

Limited will have navigation and leather? Any other features that might not be on the premium? (pretty much all guesses at this point)
