I think it was the only NPT tap and die in my Craftsman metric tap and die set. Let me see if I can look it up, or I will check when I get home.

Finally got some pics of the kit installed on my car. I also got the 9.4 psi Tial spring in my wastegate, and I am still doing testing to see if it helps hold boost better. I am definitely still getting boost spiking/valleying in the 5000 to 6500 RPM area just running off the wastegate that I really don't understand. I also ordered a GFB electronic boost controller last night to install this weekend. I am determined to get as flat of a boost curve as possible with this kit. @Visconti is also still looking over my logs to adjust my ROM to try and make more power in the upper RPM range.

Big thanks go out to @Visconti and @akuhei.

So I got my Omni Power 4 BAR MAP sensor in last week to be able to log the actual amount of boost I am running in EcuTek and to get some boost cuts programmed in. Well that meant I needed to flas a new ROM to work with the new MAP sensor. As anyone who has read my first post in this thread knows, flashing my ECU with EcuTek has been the biggest problem I have had since installing my turbo kit. I have never successfully flashed my ECU.

Well I had some free time last night, so I figured I would give it a shot. When John street tuned my car he had no issues flashing it, so I figured this should work no problem. I downloaded the ROM from the support console, and started the flash. I get to about 74% and it fails just like it has every time before. I still had a license on my dongle luckily, so I figure well let me try flashing back to the ROM John gave me when he tuned me. It failed at 85% just as before. So now I am left with a car that won't start and no EcuTek license to try and flash the car again. I have already tried a different laptop and a second EcuTek cable that John sent me and neither made any difference.

At this point I am VERY pissed. A buddy at work had his alternator fail on his family's only car, so I lent him my Tundra yesterday afternoon. With the BRZ out of comission, I now had no vehicle to drive to work today. At that point I contacted John and told him what happened. Luckily he was doing some late night dyno tuning and said to call him once I had a solution, and he would get me another license. Luckily I knew that Kris was running a Visconti tune and had successfully flashed his car with his netbook and EcuTek cable. I hit him up, and luckily I was able to meet him and get his netbook and cable. I figure if this doesn't work with a known good netbook and cable, then it never will.

I updated the EcuTek software on his netbook for my dongle, and I called up John. He had me a new license update in a couple minutes, and I was off to try the reflash. Just after midnight, I started the reflash, and it worked perfectly. I was able to quickly install the 4 BAR MAP sensor and the car fired up and ran perfectly on a test drive. I am now convinced it is either my laptop or cable even though I have tried replacing both already. I think in the future I will just go over to Kris's house to flash my car.

I am not really good at reviewing things. I think the car drives great, and everyone that rides in it loves the way it feels. I know guys have been calling for more forced induction car videos not on a dyno, so I made one yesterday:
