From what im hearing unless you use iron x or anything that's its equivalent , you are going to have these rust spots continue to show up. I did not ask the guy who did the opticoat job to do that.

So tell me why its my fault they didn't give my car a chemical bath to remove the rail rust.
Where in the contract you signed at the time of purchase did it say that all rail dust/rust would be reomved from the vehicle prior to sale? Where does it say that the warranty covers any and all rust that forms on the vehicle? If the guy who did your opticoat wasn't smart enough to remove any rail dust/rust that was on your paint at the time of application, then I would worry about the quality of the detailer you selected to opticoat your car.

The person who opti-coated should have decontaminated anyway. It's possible you have picked up some since though.

on the rear bumper its from braking you only really see it on white cars (been a detailer since 1998 im 33 now) clay bar it and add wax or wax/polish very soon these spots can become embedded in your clear coat!

now front bumper it could be rail dust or do you do a lot of highway driving with heavy traffic?? believe or not that is other people's brake dust. just keep waxing it that's always the best defense for your clear coat

and yes the IRON X is da bomb
