I have had several cars towed to my shop because they had half water from Costco and Fred Meyer and arco.... Don't go to those, they have terrible reputation around Oregon for gas.

I only fill at Chevron, and only allow my wife to do the same... Shell also has Techron (which is the best additive) if I have to I will go there only if there isn't a chevron around...

I consistently get better gas mileage with chevron than any other brand of gas that my friends/family uses. Also I have pulled apart motors that ran chevron, and pulled them apart running other inferior gas's, and the difference is extreme! Huge sludge buildup on valves with other brands, chevron always sparkly clean

Always Chevron, with Shell a distant second. Love the Techron.

I got $20 of non-ethanol 92 at Space Age in Gresham. Not sure if there's a notable difference in performance but the car does seem more willing to accelerate especially though the torque dip area. Pedal does seem a bit more responsive but that could just be my mind.

I had to tow my sports bike once after I filled up at Arco. Upon further investigation, we found water in my gas tank and it was killing my motor. That incident was enough to avoid Arco at all costs.

I also did a shot of the non-ethanol at Space Age in Gresham. Did a drive to the beach with the spousal unit. She urged me to pass a nucklehead in a BMW...romped on it was sort of surprised to see we hit 105 pretty fast. Had alot of leg left. Not sure if it was partially attributed to the gas or what. The acceleration was very smooth. No dips at all in power. Would really rather use some prepared by the alchemists at Chevron or Shell.

There was a post somewhere in the forums showing a list of non ethanol providers in the US.

Other than this experiment..chevron.

Usually go to Fred Meyer gas station with $.10 off per gallon or Costco.

yeah, really wish the big companies would jump on board with the non-ethanol fuel.

i've tried several different stations. must say i'd have to rank it, chevron, 76, then shell. for some reason i feel shell v-power makes my car kind of sluggish. but yeah, i'm feeling the difference with this ethanol free gas.

I just did my second fuel-up after the free tank from the dealer. I have been running Towne Pump ~93 oct non-ethanol premium. I don't know what other gas runs like in the car but it is running fantastically. There are two locations in the corvallis-area which makes it handy for picking it up when going to work/on the weekends.
