The whole RHD in a Left hand country and a LHD in a right hand country argument is so weak. Many countries work in both ways.
I've driven LHD cars in Japan all the time. I've also driven RHD cars in the USA (did it daily for more than a year)
Never once did I feel either was dangerous in any way shape or form.

The exchange rate is getting better but still needs to be over 110jpy to 1usd to make things more on the same level.

Also true. I wish things were so expensive over there.

Yeah I suppose your right, but it is more of what that person deems unique to them, not to everyone else. Exchange rate sucks but the government pays well to compensate for that.
