The bumper beam is made of high-strength steel. Suggest using a bit of cutting oil and a good, sharp drill. A lower power or dull drill/bit may not be able to do it.

I'm telling ya, if there was any hope Toyota would not void warranty on such an addition to the car, I would be ordering today, actually within minutes! Sounds that the Vortech is a safe and nice balance HP upgrade for sure. Really looks the part anyhow from reviews.

Yea, check with your dealer. Mine said all factory parts would be covered even with mods, assuming the install is good. Dealer seemed to like it when I mentioned Vortech as well.

Here is a 0-60 video I did. Note I am not very good at quick shifting and did not in any way aggressively launched the car. I am also running stock tires. In this video my time was 6.3 seconds for 0-60. I remember when I was stock running Visconti's pump fuel it was about 7.6ish maybe close to 8 seconds. Yeah I'm still learning and at the same time babying my precious sapphire

BTW if you neglect the poor shifting you can definitely tell that once I gain traction the car picks up revs much faster then stock or even E85. I will do another video showing a 3rd gear pull from 2k - 7k rpm. Since there is no shifting involved I can't really fuck up haha

Any more details? I am glad to hear I am not the only one that has had issues uploading tunes.

This was the second time it's happened to me, one before when I was uploading a new tune while I was NA. This time around though the upload failed and it gave me an error then my computer restart. I'm thinking it might have something to do with me running parallels on my Mac to run ecutek. Both times my tuner just updated my license and I tried the upload again and it worked with no problem. After it happened with the vortech tune I switched to fully using a windows computer to do any future uploading of tunes. As of now the car is running fine and I just sent my first datalog to perrin so hopefully the problem doesn't persist with any other maps I may receive.
