I have the DDM HID kit on for half a year already and haven't gotten any problems, maybe you just got a bad unit.

you could also try a relay harness, it helps on some cars

swap the ballast or run a relay harness. should fix the issue

should try the EuroConcept HID Kit from HID_Powerhour by @KI_ZN6. I have the EuroConcept Advanced Ultra Slim HID kit 8K works like charm for my car. @KI_ZN6 provides great service and stands for his products.
