My guess is these companies have several employees who are smoking too much from other types of pipes. What a joke. I would be livid.

No way I'd buy from these guys...waiting on Nameless.

There were gaskets and a lot of packing peanuts

I am hoping the overpipe is in a separate shipment, but I only got one tracking number

::edit

Also, when I ordered 3 different badges from a vendor a month ago I got shipped 3 of the same badge. I'm just really unlucky lol

That's the first blunder I've heard from anyone about Perrin. Mine came, looks great, has all the bolts and gaskets, and of course stickers and license plate frames. Each company makes mistakes, and it seems like it was a coincidence that you got that mistake along with your header problems.

I'm sure the vendor will make it right, or maybe there is a second shipment.... but things are just going wrong in the "order thing for my car" department

::edit

FT86Speedfactory to the rescue, they informed me that the overpipe is coming direct from manufacturer which is why I only got a partial shipment.

Now, just need to sort this Borla header out.....

Ended up un-warping my borla header flanges without taking material off.
With about 2 minutes of work on a cheap 12 ton press, I got one flange absolutely perfect, and the other one from .065 low in the middle to only about .009 (which I will work on a little tonight to get perfect)
It just so happens the header design makes it perfect to mount on a press to get flanges flat. Have the ears of the flange supported while you apply pressure to the flange between the pipes as close to the center as possible.

The press barely flinched getting the flanges straight, just did one pump past contact with the header flange and that seemed to do it.

Didn't even mark the header flange, header still looks brand new.
I hope Borla doesn't void my warranty by fixing their parts

Its hard to see exactly how much is warped, so I used feeler gauges
Before with ~1.2mm gap

After with less than .2mm gap (smallest feeler gauge would not fit, cannot confirm exact size but it is basically nothing)

A few more minutes on the press will yield a perfect flange, both of mine seemed to bow inwards in the center as do most of the other examples I see on the forum, and the press takes care of it almost instantly

How many people out there have the borla uel with perfectly flat flanges? I ordered from ft86speedfactory and was concerned about the warped flanges and Jeremy told me it was only a handful that had it. He was kind enough to offer to make sure that the flanges aren't warped before he sends it off to me so we will see how this goes.

Jeremy is great and I'm sure he'll take care of you. Make sure you order some grimmspeed gaskets too as the Borla doesn't supply gaskets.

Yeah Jeremy has been very helpful both times that I've ordered from ft86speedfactory, best customer service I've seen online. I did also order the grimmspeed gaskets to go with it.

If only everyone had access to 2 ton presses.

A cheap ~100 dollar press from harbor freight can save the day sometimes

Also can make AK receivers
