It might also be A55 that goes directly into the BCM (blue wires on the same diagram) which controls\activates the head lights.
The listing of the diagram should provide the location of the Head Light sensor. |

A55 is the wiper motor connection. Nothing in that grab is headlight auto sense.

Please post if you find the pin part # or the connector. I'm tired of stalking this post and not taking the time to thank all of you for the information. You are appreciated.

Glad my cave man hook up method spawned this. As soon as someone gets that part number I'll disconnect my wiring and hook the fogs up this way, 100% OEM!

That's what I was thinking if doing if I can find the correct female side to put on it. Also, I'll do this if I can't get the OEM harnesses.

I'm considering rewiring to OEM, but I sure like to be able to use the lights as driving lights in conjunction with my high beams. Driving the back roads down here in Texas, I need all the light I can get to see critters before its too late. I upgraded the low & high beams, and also the driving lights so I can hopefully see them before they commit suicide....
But thank you for tracing this all out. I had a feeling when I saw the fog lamp fuses installed that at least some of the wiring was there, I'm just too lazy to look myself. LOL

Since we now know where the red/white and white/red wires terminate, and they seem to be pretty exposed already, can't we just use those quick splice connectors?

I've installed my fog lights and bezels but am waiting a little longer to wire things as you folks are making this task easier each day that passes.
I'll wait until you guys here back about the Subaru wiring harness fitment, but you could still make a very clean solution by cutting the wires as they go in the connector. I already have a Nigel JDM light harness. It has the connector for the fog light end. I can add a waterproof connectors to those leads and also the wires cut from the turn signal connector. Not OEM, but would be very clean. People that have already used the aftermarket harness could clean up their under-hood wiring fairly easily. Keep up the good work here.
