I had a 98 Maxima 200 HP, Probably about 150 HP by the time I sold it. The BRZ is a lot faster and a lot more fun to drive.

06 A4 2.0T with all the upgrades a step before bigger turbo upgrade. It's one heavyass car, but it had lots of torque.
However... love this FR-S a lot more. |

Whats 460rwhp like in a s2000? How was traction? I only ask because its a small and similar weight car to the twins.

I sold my super sentra for my BRZ. 500+whp to 165whp. It's a drastic change, but I'm enjoying the BRZ immensely. And although 500whp will not be something I'm targeting, the BRZ will be getting some sort of forced induction. 300whp being the upper end of my goals on this one. The super sentra would run way too hot on the track with repeated laps.

Daily wise, I came from a Lexus GS400 (V8) roughly 310hp.. It would get up to speed when I needed it to, but i'm loving my FRS alot more..
Besides, I still have my 300+ N/A Honda Civic to have that type of fun with.. |

535whp R35 GTR for me. I miss the kick in the seat acceleration and sometimes the brutal AWD grip from the GTR but the BRZ fulfills almost everything else I want from a car.
The mods are so much cheaper, the thrills on the track are still there, stirring a stick >>> paddle shifting (no matter how bad I am at it lol). I'll probably aim to get to 300whp with the car like some of the folks above me but out of the box, the BRZ is fantastic! Edit: One last note - I have to say the community for this car is amazing as well. I've never seen a more friendly and supportive group of folks around a car like this before. You guys are awesome

Traction was not terribly bad i ran 245 RS3s and had Ohlins TTX Coilovers that i adjusted for traction, but could still blow the tires out in 4th on the highway if i really tried, my Rx-7 weighed slightly less than my s2k but had 305 rear tires and Zero traction problems.

I think power to weight needs to be measured with your butt in the seat of each vehicle. It's unfair otherwise.

Going from a 4350 lb. 360hp 550i to a 2750 lb. 200hp 86, the difference in power/weight isn't all that tremendous.
The difference in power is not going to be anything like as apparent as the difference in weight! I haven't made the switch from my (stock) S2000 yet, but I do go back and forth between that car and a ~530hp V8 RX-7. On the street, I don't miss the RX-7's power that much when I'm in the S2k, because I drive pretty sanely on the street. |
