I prefer the front of the BRZ and tge world rally blue, but I'm not willing to spend an additional thousand or so dollars to get it. It's a pricing waiting game now.

It will be interesting to see if the 86 matches price with the BRZ with the same trim/options.

Mazda Miata Base: USA: $23200 Canada: $29000
Ford Mustang V6 Base: USA: $22310 Canada: $22249
Genesis Coupe 2.0T: USA: $22250 Canada: $24899 (Plus $2500 cash rebate)
Subaru Impreza WRX 5 door: USA: $25595 Canada: $33400
Lexus IS 250: USA: $33595 Canada: $33895
Honda Civic SI: USA: $22405 Canada: $26000
BMW 128I: USA: $31050 Canada: $36000
Scion TC: USA: $19300 Canada: $20850

I ran a Carsaver.ca report on the TC and the dealers invoice price is $19686. They are only marking up $1200 which isn't too bad.

Has anyone found a BRZ photo with the lights on? I bet the C shaped light pipe looks better than the LED strip in the FRS. Other than that I prefer everything else on the FRS over the BRZ. If you look at the high res photos in the TMS thread the black bumper, plastic slats (instead of mesh grill) and fender vents look very plasticy and cheap. They look OK from a distance but up close not as good.

The Toyota has a better front end and WAY better looking gauges (white tach like the LFA...sweet!). As for the interior, it just depends if you want a more mature look (BRZ) or a more youthful/racy look (FT86). I could care less about the other differences, i.e. head/tail lights, badge, etc.

I'm buying the FT86.

I also prefer either a clean trunk, or the huge basket handle wing, not the stubby spoiler thing. I also like the Subaru headlights with the C-shaped light pipe.

I pretty much want a mix-n-match combination of the two models.
How did you get inside my brain?

is that a back to the future refrence? lol

anyways, i like the 86's more aggresive front. I dont care its a scion, and i like the interior with the red accents. I also dont hate the BRZ, it just doesnt say, look at this. i prefer the BRZ headlights over the 86's. id probably just switch out the scion badges to toyota ones

Also - i love that WRC Blue nom nom

I prefer the 86 also. The front end is so much more aggressive than the BRZ.

If I can put the BRZ headlights on the FR-S (which looks like it's possible without changing bumpers or fenders) then FR-S, but I LOVE the BRZ headlights

EDIT: after looking at the pictures longer I don't think they'll be transferable, the inside corners are different

Get either one and buy the parts you like about the other one.
