I prefer Toyota's interior. Liking red with black or white exterior.

I know exactly what you mean. I just can't picture myself in my late 20s driving a Scion...

I'm torn... I can't even vote. I'm not crazy about the color of the 86. Never really liked that color on any car. I love the blue on the BRZ, but I'm trying not to base my decision on color. This is a tough call..... Both have things that I like and dont like about them.

very much leaning towards Subaru for myself

IMO Its more toned down than the 86...its more simple, its more ...silver

Its got that face, like a pug.....its ugly....but cute.

the 86 to me is more flamboyant. More aggressive, more Tom Cruise, and it screams to be looked by motorists as they plow into a truck full of manure.

do we know if the 86 is exactly how the FR-S is going to look? maybe there will be some differences that will put the FR-S on top of the BRZ...

I like the FR-S overall... but I was one of the hopefuls that thought the BRZ Sti concept tail lights would make it =[ ... now I'm not so sure about the car any more. Just can't get over the rear end looking so silly.

^Yeah, same here. But these tails are starting to grow on me (look somewhat meaner than the frail Toyota concept tail lights)... I think that's part of why it made it to the final design (plus cost to manufacture). But yes the STI tails are better than all.

I picked BRZ just because of that blue paint. I hate that big black bar across the front bumper (though it'd save your paint in a minor frontal collision) but do like the integrated front lip. I like the 86 overall front, instrument cluster, and red interior accents. But that blue paint makes all these other details negligible.

When I get the chance to buy one next Spring, I'll choose neither. Ask again when the TRD and STI versions are availabe. That's when I'll make my choice.

Cause switching the emblems doesn't make way more sense.

I've voted 86, but it will really boil down to prive/availability and if Subaru can match the 5 year warranty that Toyota UK offers...

The toyota will be mieen!

I love the way it flows in the front. It's very reminicent of the original concept, one which I liked very much

blue covers up the shape very well. Toyota has that typical celica ridge around the logo. The subaru has the same thing but you cant see it on these pics...i think it does have the same ridge. Whatevs.. i like the FRS bumper but the subaru DRL LEDs are much better. gt86 interior and cluster looks much better

I'm leaning toward BRZed. There was a chop with drop and front lip, it looked awesome. I just don't like that fender fake vent.
