The spoiler is optional
That's news to me, I'll give you a point on that one.

The in-dash navi is optional for both cars (depending on trim level)
And this one too, which I had totally forgotten. The guy at the Toyota dealership in Naha specifically said it when I was thumbing through his training manual.

I'm still gonna stick with the BRZ. Plasma Blue + headlights + foglights > 86 front bumper + badging. Besides, the perversity of putting a RWD Subie coupe in my stable with my Evo's appeals to me.

The brz has the better looking shade of blue IMO but over all I like the 86 better with its unique fender logo and I would prefer the cloth seats

In the Pic of the dash, it's backwards. The GT86 screenshot is on the BRZ side, and the BRZ is under the GT86 side. Just FYI... Either way....GT86 FTW. Reminds me of a Maserati from the side.

I chose the 86 cause the only thing I like in the BRZ is the headlights and the steering wheel, which can both easily changed.

But the major deciding factor was price like what you guys all said. And judging from Subaru's habit of marking up the price for Canadians (like I mean several thousands of dollar for basically the same car) I would go with Scion who onlyarks it up a couple of hundred dollars.

Scion's Canadian markup should be about $2000 if it's like the other cars currently on the market. Subarus should be about $7000 because they hate Canada.

I thought the TC was only marked up $800. I could be remembering the numers wrong though. But yeah Subaru hate Canadians, I wanted a WRX but I think it was the same price as a US STI, so I was like screw that not buying from Subaru.

Put the Blue 86 up to the Blue BRZ and see the difference in Blues. Cause people keep talking about the BRZ being in blue.

I'm torn. Neither front end is particularly sexy. The silver/white tach ring on the 86 is growing on me; I like how it emphasizes the importance of the engine revs above all else. I also prefer the fake carbon dash trim on the 86 to the bright plain silver on the BRZ. I do prefer the BRZ's fake fender vents over the 86's fake fender vent with rather awkwardly placed 86 logo. I also prefer either a clean trunk, or the huge basket handle wing, not the stubby spoiler thing. I also like the Subaru headlights with the C-shaped light pipe.

I pretty much want a mix-n-match combination of the two models.
