They won't let you run E85? Or they won't allow fuel conversions/ECU tunes?
Because E85 is pump gas, there's no reason they shouldn't allow it.

I can run e85 with the ecu flash... I can not run the flex fuel kit because the kit takes you out of the class.

That's ridiculous. It's just new fuel lines and a sensor!

I thought if you turn your car off on a certain map (e85) map, when you come back it would still be on it? or does automatically go to the default 1 map?
It defaults to the stock 1 map. But some cars remember the last map they were on. Its a bug in those cars. But Ecutek or John will figure it out...

Hold the cruise control stock in to see if you can change maps.

Sounds like that's a feature, not a bug! IMO, the bug is in the cars that can't remember the last map used

E85 has 1/3 less energy than normal gas.

So when running 85 you must add 1/3 more fuel.

The higher octane rating of E85 and the cooling effects of more fuel per part of air combine to allow you car to add timing and make some more power (a lot in turbo cars).

So Driving on E85 tune with regular gas = very rich not the end of the world. At full throttle you could start to wash your cylinders and kill your O2 censer and cats but this will take time.

Driving on Regular tune with E85 in the car is bad you are running very lean but should be fine if you don’t stress the motor. At full throttle could detonate bad enough to kill motor.
