When they are off, can you even tell the LED's are yellow? I don't see any yellow in the #45 picture above.

I'm guessing no, especially if you go with a smoked lense. If they are yellow, would be more visible with a clear lense obviously. The leds are more then likely clear when off and light yellow when on

Hopefully vendor can confirm ?

You can't see them in yellow if they are not on.

I was their first buyer for the clear ones. They are great!
Oh, make sure to sand a bit of the excess plastic on the side, it kind of scratched my paint a bit when I tried to install it on the right side.

EDIT: NVM it's not paint scrapes - the oem and these new side markers has weather lining sort of material surrounding the side markers. The OEM side marker's weather lining adhered slightly to the body of the car - when you snap it out and put in a new one, the new weather lining kinda scrapes off the old weather lining that adhered to the car.

I got mine today, also in clear - looks really good and it seemed to scratch my paint a bit too... some paint/plastic residue was scraped off kinda? but I don't see any actual scratches on my paint. Otherwise, it looks like the regular JDM ones I see in pictures.

Thumbs up

Got mine installed using Ayau's DIY here.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11276

Used 194a Amber LED's. Bulbs were a little brighter, oh well.

Here are some crappy before/after iPhone pics!
