Thank you for these. I spoke to Tony last night and he told me some customers had an easy time getting some slack for the hose. I just didn't want to break something, so I figured it'd be best to come to the forums or call Tony. I think I may just buy a small line of vacuum hose and clamp it over the OEM hose.

I think it's an option to have that hole or not.. mine's doesn't have it either. When you buy the intake, there's an option (on the pull-down menu) for "Recirculated (OEM)" or "Vent to Atmoshpere"... I think the hole is for people who selected "Recirculate".

Yes, FA20 has options between OEM Crank Vent setup or No Vent setup. There is also an option for a smaller diameter longer body filter, it actually has about 30% more filter area than the aem dry flow option.... I'll post pic this weekend when i install mine.

Can't remember what options were originally offered with the intake.. but my guess is those options probably became available on the site as more & more people requested it.

They're actually quite accomodating and willing to customize certain parts for you if you request it (even if it's not listed as an option).. as long as they have to means to fabricate it.

Installed mine yesterday and had the same issue. My vent hose didn't have enough slack. It was so tight I thought it would pull the fitting out of the pipe.

I went to Autozone and found a Ford PVC 90 degree fitting and used it. No stretch or tension on the pipe fitting.

I may end up doing that. I felt like it really could have used a 90deg bend instead of the straight connector on it. I was able to hook it up but I had to wrangle it into working.

I went looking for a 6 inch piece or breather hose so I could make a short piece and use the factory 90 degree fitting.

They didn't have any bulk hose that large, so I went to the section where they have the factory hose fittings pre made. Found the Ford piece and it worked fine.
