FBM 8.8 IRS Rear Diff Conversion

We designed a conversion kit to put a ford 8.8 IRS into the FRS/BRZ. This is the same setup we used in many fast S2000's around the world.

We chose this option again, because there are tons of gear rations to Pick from.

Our kit will come complete with Driveshaft shop axles, drive shaft, studs, hubs, the whole works.

Pricing TBA

I'll get the final weight difference, a little extra weight on the rear tires is a good thing

Seriously! Are you guys building a Pro Street FR-S?

Between your dyno numbers and this rear-end integration, I'm starting to think you are building with a purpose in mind! Sub-10 second FR-S maybe?

Does this mean you've found a need for this part? Yes, I'm asking if you blew up the stocker.

No, but the stubs going into the diff will only allow for a certain diameter axle. Also the ring and pinion is pretty small.

However, we did find tons of shavings every time we tore the cover off the OEM diff. The stock unit probably would of lasted, but we did not want to invest a ton of money in to the axles, drive shaft ect.. just to find out if it will break.

The main advantage to this swap is the gear ratio options . All of which are under $200 a set.
