Ok im here guys, piston #2 cracked and the piston ring shot up through the valve. The engine is being replaced, it could be possible a injector failed or the car went lean up top. They are still trying to find the source of the problem but it looks like the car will be down for another month at least , engine is on order though.

Ive got some pics of the piston on my laptop ill post them up later since im on my phone. Hope to have her up and running again soon.

I'm truly amazed they're replacing the whole engine FOC considering it was remapped. You've got off extremely lucky!

I also heard a couple of cars have had injector o rings fail causing the engine to break as well. The techs are trying to diagnose the problem and this could be one of the issues. Tracking your car puts a whole other meaning to stressing the engine out, heat and stress can cause things to fail. The last engine that blew on me was a completely stock a 2003 Seat Leon Cupra-R with around 7k miles, it blew after a 30 min session (Audi 1.8T engine), one of the stock rods bent. Im not saying this is the case but it could be as well a part failed and caused the engine to die. Everything is speculation right now until the techs give me word as to what went wrong, could be an injector, map, ecu, heat, defective piston, bad fuel, santa claus, or the devil we wont know until they finish diagnosing the problem and give me a full report.

Is this falling under warranty? Or are they doing the work and deferring the cost until they can determine if it's the fault of the manufacturer or operator?

Major engine failure, 1 month repair time +time its already been in the shop, wouldn't that just fall under lemon law and they should give you a new replacement car?
