I dont think it's a short ram type, looks like it still uses the snorkel from the normal airbox. It may be uprated possibly too.

I'm pretty sure the increased airbox volume and possibly tuned snorkel effects performance in a very positive way.

This is the first intake I think looks the absolute worst and is an oversized stock intake with TRD letters written on it...

Interesting they stuck with an accordion style inlet. Does anyone know the airflow benefits of that design? I'd assume it might be better for low end but it seems like it would create some unnecessary turbulence at higher revs.

hey i just walked over to my parts department and had the part number checked here in canada and it says the part is "obsolete" which means it is either non-existent, one time only part or that it is still in the development phase.
