I have since changed the position of the tube, I got rid of the straps. The tube moved around to much.
Its such an awesome set up. I have it pressed up against the back seat parallel to the back seat. It is held in place by a single 6 inch bracket bent at a 90 degree angle screwed into the top of the tube, and the back seat. Has not budged in 6 months.

Dude I stood in amazement when I was able to change shower heads, and use water sealing tape correctly. Like I built a castle.
I would not be able to install the tube myself. You should have seen me Saturday for two hours trying to figure out if I put a drop in filter correctly. Its some sad shit man. My girl tells me oh my car is making funny noises, so I pop the hood and say oh timing belt looks good, carburetor's ok, lets take it in to get looked at. Like I know what I am talking about. So I don't look impotent.

Having been through the HS years with the crazy system I was very skeptical of going with an inexpensive choice like the Bazooka. In the end I picked the BTA10250D on sale for $125 and gave it a shot, it was too cheap to pass up.
It's light, easy to remove quickly, and sounds surprisingly good. It adds more than enough bass. Best bang for the buck I have seen yet for this car. Highly recommended. |

First post!
The bazooka tubes do put out a surprising amount of bass for their size and wattage. I was about to buy one for mine as they are really easily removed for track days when I found this guy. A little pricey but it is tiny and has the amp built in and is easily removable (1 molex connector and 2 straps) http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...2db494a764en02

'Zookas weren't cheap when I was in high school, but then again, that was when you could build most of the amps available from parts at Radio Shack. Ask me how I know... Only up until about early/mid-2000's, they were twice the price. If'n you aren't going to audio competitions, this will work in most hatches for less money and with 80-95% effectiveness. Eric G |

I was so scared a bazooka tube was some sort of ridiculous exhaust.
