I got the Rho Plate. Great quality. I don't have a front plate yet, but will post pictures when I do.

I like my Perrin one. Feels super solid and you can't see it from the front, unlike the Grimmspeed one which shows a little bit of the top and bottom if you don't have a plate cover. Also, it's funny if you don't have a plate on it (for whatever reason) it looks like your car has a bow-tie. HAHA!

Just got my Perrin plate re-locator. Solid, great fit and finish, professionally packaged, literate instructions. Best customer service I've received in a long time. I am waiting for their ECU tune, it will be worth it.

The kit comes with 4 large black washers so that you can adjust how far the bracket extends from the bumper. I used two, but one would have been fine. I hope these pictures help.

ummm....exactly how concerned are you guys with the strength of this product and why?

People keep claiming the perrin one is more durable...I didn't see the stress analysis...please repost...

I find the GrimmSpeed to be more than sturdy enough, line up perfectly with my standard issue Cali plate, allow adjustability, (mine is tucked between the headlight and DRL on the BRZ angled heavily so it is only really visible from front or passenger side.

I don't see there being a real comparison to make here...not that i don't like Perrin (love their R and D for exhaust etc)...but the plate mount lacks versatility and function....if I wanted the plate mounted up front and square i would have put it in the factory location...I wanted mine out of the way...

Honestly, I am sure any of them would do. It is just holding a license plate. I just appreciate a nice design and quality workmanship. I just think Perrin took some time to make a really slick kit for the money. I am certainly not saying anything bad about the other kits.

Makes for a great mini-battering ram as well!

I know the title is asking about GrimmSpeed and Perrin.. but does anyone have the license plate relocator by PTuning?

When it comes down to it I am sure they are all virtually the same minus a few minor differences.

I ordered one but still waiting on it (damn being out in Hawaii).

I bought a GrimmSpeed one before Perrin released theirs, it has a ton of adjustability since it is more of a generic kit. Which means it takes more screwing around to get it just right. You do have a ton of adjustment with it, but honestly there is really only so much of it you can use on the car and keep the plate off of the bumper. Whereas the Perrin one just bolts on and is good to go. I had concerns the Grimmspeed one would come loose over time, but after 6 months seems OK so far. I would suggest you look at the pictures of the Perrin one and if you like where it sits go for it just based on ease of install. But if you want a little more adjustment for fine tuning go with the GrimmSpeed.

I haven't gotten a ticket since 2007.
