you might be taking the term "blow up" too seriously. in the tuning wold, we use the term "blow up" to refer to a degree of catastrophic failure that would require at least a mild rebuild to rectify: throwing a rod, breaking a ringland, spinning a bearing, etc.

If a 410whp FR-S can hit high 10's on 245's for rear tires then a 600+whp FR-S can most certainly hit 9's. But you would need to install driver mod.

Shit.. Good point. Factoring in a 15-20% loss in the drivetrain, this thing is prob pushing over 350hp/l at the crank!! With sticky tire, grabby clutch and a hard launch, my money is on quick breakage of the axles..

Assuming 200hp = 160whp on the dyno gives 20% loss which puts it around 750hp at the flywheel (roughly) which is insane from a 2.0L.

So next up ... 1000hp?

Throwing a rod only requires a mild rebuild? I dont imagine windowing a block is something that can just be welded back up.

A mild throw the fucking block away maybe. A mild rebuild consists of restoring cross hatch, new rings and main bearings things like this. And yes i have rebuilt engines. Everything from a 454 chevy to a ej257.
