With 410rwhp this car traps like 128, which is good for a 10.7ish if it can hook up. with over 600rwhp? This car can dip into the 9's.

Not so sure about 9's. The lower the ET, the harder it is to actually go faster. Not like going from 14's to 13's as it is going from 10's to 9's. |

Exactly. I would still imagine low 10's if they can hook up.

I was being optimistic haha. From a sheer power to weight ratio, its there, but id still venture on low 10's aswell. I wouldnt be surprised if we saw a high 130 trap though.

I imagine it will be faster then the 2JZ powered FRS that ran 11.3? But i think in the video the driver misshift in 5th gear. So its probably a 10second car on the strip

That 2jz car should be running much better than it did. The rest of the car wasnt built to go down the strip well. We just gotta find a way to get these cars to hook and we will see tons of 10 second twins run down the 1320.

Not sure what you mean by "Hook". Like getting traction?

A 2850lb RX7 with 640whp, h pattern transmission and drag radials runs 9.9s easily. The same car with slicks and sequential transmission runs 9.3s easily. This car does run a small 50 shot to get it going, cuts a 1.3s 60ft.
If the lighter FR-S/BRZ can hook up and not destroy driveline parts, the same amount of power may put it in the 9s. That said, it took fast imports a long time to get even into the 10s. The rate of development on this car is nothing short of amazing. Although a 9 second RX7 is terrible to drive on the streets. ![]() -budi |

So what you are saying is that Brian Earl Spilner owes this car to Dom.

Jesus that's pretty amazing ..
Just curious .. what's your protective measures in the case the engine does decide to blow up? o.o hate to hear someone stood near the car and got engine/transmission parts as a new body part
