Yeah I'm thinking that I would let go of the stock fronts calipers, lines, pads, and rotors for $450 plus shipping for the whole kit. I still need to clean them up and I can even paint them with fresh red caliper paint for anyone who wants it done so they look like new.

Thanks, I've been in a lull as far as upgrades...I bought some Password JDM stuff I'm still waiting on as well. My bumper has been delayed another 4-6 weeks so I'm a little bummed about that. I have some Spiegler rear brake lines to install and a new surge bucket for my fuel pump to install as well.

Ultimately i am trying to save a bit of money to get the car painted. I was going to go with vinyls but a full custom paint job costs about the same as vinyl and will look 10x better at a show. I plan on using vinyls for any sponsors I might dig up though.

The turbo is working fine, the power is still at about 260WHP, but I feel guilty because I've been a little too busy to even clean her

I saw someone with your bumper in silver at the local motors car show. They were a test fit car for it but he said they are still backed way up on orders.

@Supermassive. I'm too lazy to look... tell me the psi you're running to get 260WHP.

Side Note: I'm going to Phoenix tomorrow for business. From Tuesday to Friday. I'll be at the JW Marriott - what's to do there?

Running 7psi on a base tune at the moment. As for whats here to do...you'd have to ask the other locals, I'm a night crawler so I tend to only get out during the weekends.

Are you sure it was Chargespeed, I've been told from their importer that zero bumpers have even been produced, and that zero have made it the US. I doubt Chargespeed would send one to America to be test fit.

This is the bumper I'm waiting on:

No it was different I thought he said charge speed but either I heard wrong or he was confused because most of his parts were sponsor parts and were installed for him. But that one you want looks way better the best looking one I've seen.

Your car is INSANE! Love this build!

Couple questions: What do you do for a living? You obviously have mechanical abilities. And second, what possessed you to spend so much money on an FRS? I'm not judging because you are going to surprise A LOT of people on the road, and this car has turned out AMAZING, but why not pick something with a little more potential? GTR or Supra? Honest question (although, I'm incredibly happy you picked an FRS )

Subbin' for more updates! I'm in love with your car!

How do you like the fit and finish of the seibon hood?

thanks

Well I work for Intel, the mechanical "abilities" come from all the way back in childhood, tinkering with lawnmower engines trying to make go karts from scratch, then dirt bikes, and so on and so forth. As for spending so much on an FR-S? Well I like to tinker, so the FR-S made sense as a platform to mess around with. I was seriously considering a GT-R before I bought the FR-S, but then I started pricing parts on the aftermarket and that's when it hit me that I could own a GT-R and not do much to it, or I could own the FR-S and transform it for the same price. The Supra was out of the question, I have owned a couple and loved them but they are old cars, they feel old, and in terms of handling are second rate to performance cars of today. Sure you can throw tons of money at them to get them lighter and more nimble, but that will only get you so far.

I love my Seibon hood, it fits extremely well for a carbon hood, it's not perfect by any means but it's pretty close and it's perfect enough for me.
