This build is epic! I want that AP Racing BBK, that UEL header... I need to win the lottery soon.

Wheel/tire setup is beefy! I see track days in your future!

So, we have only added 1 lb, but have added massive amounts of grip and width
Any rubbing?

What kind of camber front and rear?

Thanks,

Simmons

Camber is unknown at this point. We really haven't had time to align it. It's just sitting inside hanging out. Roads are in no condition for it right now. I don't see how it can rub either at this point. Everything looks good there clearance wise.

I'll dig up a camber gauge and see what it is at now, but we haven't set it up at all for any type of motorsports use yet. I know... not much help. Sorry.

I know of members running this exact setup, spec-wise.

Here is one and he is much lower than we are. 17x9+35 TC105n w/255/40/17
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17040

We will get it all figured out soon. Like Jeremy said, just not enough time and nowhere to test it with the road conditions.

Hope that helps!

Silver has to be the one color I would never wilfully choose as my car color..

That being said - this car is slowly changing my opinion. This car looks great and the wheels really suit it. Nicely done.

Did you have to run spacers on the front too clear the brakes, I know the +45 won't clear the AP brakes without spacers.

Great looking build

Sun was shining yesterday in Iowa and we decided to get some beauty shots with one more little addition to the car. Installed a Seibon SN carbon trunk lip spoiler. Looks great with the Rexpeed kit

A little update for the car this weekend, as we get prepared for the upcoming season. We had a chance to strap the car down and get some tuning done.

After doing some pulls, sending the data in to FA20Club and getting a tune back this is what we got compared to a stock car.

The stock dyno we did back in August was a poor sample so we overlay'd it to one that was the K&N drop in filter dyno.

As you can see the torque dip is significantly reduced and almost flat now. FA20Club mentioned that had we been able to get 93 octane fuel in the car we would have seen more gains, but 91 is all we get here in Des Moines, so it had to do. I'm excited and happy with the new torque curve, especially with autocross and track season almost here for us in Iowa.

Looks super clean! Are you running OEM brakes in the rear? The reason I ask is I just picked up a set of Wilwoods for the front and not sure what I'll do in the rear yet. Maybe just pads?
