yes. but i think its better if u just look or the wire for side marker/parking lights under the steering column (behind the trunk switch) to tap that red wirefrom the switch.

How?
I do have to run the black wire (one that goes to the switch) inside.
But if i dont wanna use a switch
Why tap to the tail light?
Can i tap them to my day time running light so they come on when i lower my ebrake.

Just run it and tuck it, thats what i did, you cant even see it. It beats cutting and splicing factory wires.

Im not sure about this. But i think the black wire that goes inside to connect into switch that it came with the harness. Tap that black wite to the white wire in the side marker.

from what i understand, the relay is red to battery, black to any ground. The switch is red to a power source of your choice and again black to ground. The red switch wire could go directly to the side markers or you could tap the fuse for the side markers or you could tap the fuse for the tail lights. You could then just leave the switch in the "on" position and stash it somewhere which is what i'll probably do unless it's easy enough to get it mounted. This will allow the fogs to always be on when you turn your headlights on.

Yes. Coz thats what i did to test the fogs. Before putting the wire thru the firewall and to the switch.

Nigel's harness comes with a fuse included on the harness off the red wire from the relay but there is no fuse on the red wire from the switch.
You can tie the red wire from the switch into an existing circuit such as key ignition and you will not need a fuse because that circuit should already have one. If you tie into an existing, the switch will not work by itself, it will work whenever you turn what you tied it into on, then you can operate the switch. If you hook it directly up to the battery(as the power source) then the switch will work by itself and you can turn the fogs on and off whenever without turning something else off too. If you go directly to the battery from the switch though, it is strongly advised you put a fuse between the circuit to protect your switch and the inside of your car.

Note: If you look at any circuit where power is connected directly to the battery(relay of harness for example), it will have a fuse. This is to protect the electrical device and your circuitry so you dont fry your system if a surge or spike, etc.. goes through.
