You're talking about the harness that plugs in beside the green plug in the back of the Pioneer navi unit? Where did you find the harness for sale?

"Place the 2 folders “Firmware” and “Update” along with the file “CARDINFO.cif” at G:\. (only these 2 folders + 1 file, the others in the torrent are useless at this time)"
I dont understand this step. I dont see these folders from the file that i downloaded from piratebay |

In the torrent you downloaded, you should have a zip file called "2012 upgrade.rar"
When you unzip that, it will create a folder called "z140 Files" and within that folder, you'll see the two folders and cardinfo.cif file. |

I finally got my navigation bypass completed, mostly using USB.
You can use USB to access the file navigation using testmode.key, but you must use a SD card to do the maps update, I couldn't get the update to be detected on the USB drive. To get the RenewalIFLib Replacement working with USB, you need to change lines 12 and 13 of ScriptExec.ini from: Quote:

Great info, was researching this last night on avic411.com for hours on how to do it.
This takes out some of the guess work. |

Does anyone have a copy of the NAVI.exe that needs to be edited? I checked my backup and double checked everything but I can't find the offset strings. I have the same model as indicated and supported by the hack to no avail. can't find it. anyone?

I had this problem too, but I wasn't able to find the hex string under PRG0 I found it under the PRG1 folder. I ended up finding the reason in the third AVIC411 link provided which says that the Navi file used is under the PRG1 folder if there is a USER folder that contains a PRG.FLG file. I edited the Navi.exe file from the PRG1 folder and it all works great now. |
