Canadian BRZ Navi EQ settings?

I know the stereo isn't the greatest, but I can't seem to find settings that sound very good (all of the presets completely suck balls).

Here is a pic of what I have the custom set at now. Please post up what you have, and what I could do to improve (other than getting a new HU lol).

FYI - I have balance set to -4 rear, "power mode" set to high, and the "bass boost" settings set to factory...zero I believe.

Small trick to get the best setup possible... Put loudness @ off, then go to EQ, put everything at 0. Then set each frequency alone to find the best possible sound at that frequency. Write it down (+1,+2,-3...etc) and put it back at 0 and do the same with all other frequencies. After that, just apply all the settings together.

While we're talking about the stereo... How do you make presets for FM radio???? I'm an engineer, my wife is an engineer, we're both techies and neither of us can figure it out.

Step 1: Go to screen "1". Set the radio station i.e 92.5, then "press here".

Step 2: You should be at screen "2". Press and hold P1 to set it as your first preset. Then "press here" to go back to the previous screen and repeat for P2 and so on.

Let me know if your having problems

Once you are in the FM station scan section, just hold down the station you want and the preset button menu pops up. Choose what spot (1-6) you want to allocate the channel to (pretty much the same as any car stereo except you are holding down the screen).

Very good, I'm still switching back from Custom 1 (my setting) to your setting (Custom 2). I like them both for different reasons but can't find a good balance. I find having the Loudness on Low makes everything sound so quiet, but it sounds more natural...I just have to turn it up more. Where on my setting, it's a good powerful sound, but can get a bit deep and raspy depending on what you're listening to.

I'm going to try what Future suggested, and bring everything down to 0 and tune each one individually and see what I come up with.

I'll post up pics of whatever I change.

Thanks guys, it was the press and hold part that wasn't intuitive to me. I tried pressing and holding for the first step, but every time I got to the second screen I was assuming it was just jumping to my presets... Never made the connection that I should try press and hold there too lol.
