where the eff is the primary cat? is it part of the header?

Yes its part of the header. Befor the overpipe.

oh no. i'm just concerned in terms of where it is so i know what to touch and not to touch for upgrading purposes. so it seems upgrading the header will eliminate the primary cat?

Well there are some headers appearing with cats now but if the header you like is uncatted you could get a midpipe with a hi flow cat instead.

I've got a noob question too about the exhaust.
I noticed that each additional part of the exhaust had slight WHP and tq increases on the dynos.
Cat back exhaust was 5-8whp
Frontpipe was 5-7whp and the overpipe was about 4whp
Does that mean if you get all three parts of the header back system you should get the summed total gains of 14-19whp or more likely will it be less then that

Would be interesting to see a dyno of the complete header back system vs stock.
I'm sure its somewhere

i also have a question to all the turbo kit makers out there or to whom may concern.. why is no one using turbonetics turbos??? Are they not a good product??? ive even emailed them an asked them if they are gonna make a kit or not and didnt get a reply i hope someone can answer this for me..

no less, check for Perrin exhauts part proving.
