i got my car in Feb, didn't bother putting on winter tires. i just won't drive this car when it gets snow, but winter is almost over so no point.

i'm planning to get winter tires for next winter on TireRack.com. No one in Canada has price that comes nearly as good as TireRack.

Check with GBTires.ca, I didn't get my snows through them but my new summer wheels/tires are coming through them. Prices are very good, wish I knew about them when I bought my snows.

Have you factored in shipping/taxes/duty when you compare prices? The price I'm paying for my summer wheels/tires (RPF1's and dunlop Z2's) is less than tirerack's price + shipping/taxes/duty.

Are you going to pick them up in the US or get them shipped here? I looked into this and found the savings to be very minimal. I ended up getting General Altimax Arctic for $820 installed on OEM rims at Tires23.

The tire that i was looking at is the Michelin Primacy Alpine PA3. Shipping is around $130 to Canada, then tax. No duty cause it's made in North America.

SupraRon, i checked your tire, General Altimax Artic. I don't know how much labour cost to mount it on stock rims, but 4 tires cost $520, plus $130 shipping to Canada.

I was pretty sure there was tax on top of that which brought it close to $800. Well I will have to take a closer look when I get better summer tires.
