I'm going out on a limb here, but Please Stop Using Caps Like This. It's extremely hard to read and forces you to type slower to hit shift constantly.

I'm glad someone finally said it. It really is hard to read. Some folks are so lazy they never use caps...this cat goes out of his way to capitalize every word...

Why Isn't This Car Considered Fast?
Look at this though.

2013 Scion FR-S (Auto) 0-60 mph 7.9
2010 Toyota Corolla XRS (2.4L) 0-60 mph 7.4
2013 Subaru BRZ (Auto) 0-60 mph 7.3
2012 Scion tC (Manual) 0-60 mph 6.8
2009 Mazda MX-5 Miata 0-60 mph 6.7
2012 Honda Civic Si Coupe 0-60 mph 6.4
2013 Scion FR-S (Manual) 0-60 mph 6.2
2013 Subaru BRZ (Manual) 0-60 mph 6.1

2012 Honda Civic Si Sedan 0-60 mph 6.0
2013 Ford Focus ST (5-Door) 0-60 mph 5.9
2004 Mazda RX-8 (Manual) 0-60 mph 5.7
2006 Honda S2000 0-60 mph 5.4
2010 Mazdaspeed 3 0-60 mph 5.1
2013 Ford Mustang V-6 Premium 0-60 mph 5.1
2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Sedan 0-60 mph 4.9
2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 0-60 mph 4.5

Per zero-60times and yes I picked the fastest times for the RX-8 and S2000.

The benchmark for fast has moved up quite a bit. Myself, I rank acceleration pretty low so I'm not swayed by this. But it's always nice to see where your car stacks up against competitors or similar cars.

I wouldn't cry about 0-60 in 7 flat but it's obviously capable of mid 6's with a good launch.

With some bolt ons and tuning I would guess this car is capable of getting there in the 5s. That would put the car in a sweet spot for me, but right now I'm really not worried about that. I'm definitely hitting a big ass grin in way less than 5 seconds.

Why are you so defensive? Just saying the point of this car was not just meant to go straight. Any idiot with money can make any car go fast in a straight line.

No kidding. We all know that by now so you can probably stop parroting it. Any car can be made to do anything with enough money. 0-60 times are simply one way to judge a cars performance (acceleration) and it's fun to see where your particular car stands. There's no need to piss in someone's cornflakes because they're curious...
