0-60mph Times
I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but whatever. I only have an HKS filter and the sound tube delete. I managed a 7 second 0-60. (I'm not in any way a seasoned/professional driver.)
I've seen times as low as 6.2 for the FR-S and 6.1 for the BRZ...so lets go with the 6.1. At the same time a friend of mine saw 7.3 for the BRZ on car buzz. This is all manual of course. What is a good number for our actual 0-60? Of course there is driver variances. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXIC86eCLr8&list=UUlIwb8y0nGi4gnhHCkGamjQ"]FR-S 0-60 - YouTube[/ame] |
Call it 6.4 or so, and be done.
|
6.4 on my end...my one and only attempt.
|
0-60 times vary with altitude so the results will vary by location.
|
You must also take coreolis into account.
|
You bought the wrong car if you're worried about 0~60.
Enjoy the turns! |

Ah gotcha.
|
I got 6.6 seconds with G-tac :iono:
Edit: Starscream, what is the physics business you speak of? |
I only mentioned it because altitude was mentioned. Just being snarky.
Random Useless facts to follow: If you're on the equator and accelerate to the west to 60mph in 6.6 seconds, you're still moving 978mph in the other direction. I would call that deceleration. :laughabove: Next useless lesson; Time Dilation. |
Perfect conditions and a clutch and drivetrain irritating 5500RPM launch is good for 6.4 Seconds.
A street launch is 8.0 Seconds. |
