Stock baseline- 6.7seconds

Turbo (310whp) 0-50mph- 4.27sec; 0-57mph- 4.997sec

Both setups require the shift into 3rd gear to hit 60mph and were done on cold asphalt with summer tires. Launches could be a lot better. In perfect conditions with my new wheel/tire setup, I can see <4.7seconds as being a manageable goal. When I get tuned for e85 (400whp), I'm sure the time will drop even furter.

Well I'm running over 400whp when I'll be hitting the track in a few weeks, so it's more like how can I hit under 4 without breaking shit, lol. All of the motor and transmission should be fine with my mods, but it's the diff and axles I'm worried about.

I think you can do better than 5 with 310whp.
Also, if you get tuned for higher RPM, you might be able to squeeze 60mph out of 2nd gear.

I'm hoping after I learn how to correctly launch this car and with my basic bolt ons and tune, I can break into 5 seconds. Probably wont happen, but maybe it will.

If our cars are doing 55mph at redline, I'm sure 8000rpm will do the trick.

Point Taken. The V6 Mustang Is The Only Car Even Close ToThe Same Price Though. The Problem With Purchasing A 6 Cylinder Is That Makes You The Guy Who "Can't Afford A GT!"

Speed = Money. More Money , More Speed.

The Point I Was Getting At, While Not Explaining It Enough Is... While The FR-S May Not Be Fast Enough To Beat A Car With An Engine Twice Its Size And With Two More Cylinders It Has More Than Enough Speed To tear Down A Windy Road, Scare You A Little And Put A Big Smile On Your Face!

Of course. I'm just bringing up the point that he's comparing to 2 cars from the 70's, and wondering why this car is considered slow. If you dropped it into 1970, it would be a powerhouse, but it's not a powerhouse today. It's not supposed to be, but that's beside the point - he's doing a straight comparison of 0-60 times, and giving the FR-S a 40 year advantage over what he's considering competitors.
