IIRC, if the TPMS light blinks for x amount of seconds then stays solid, then there is a malfunction with one of the sensors (or if you swapped wheels and the new ones don't have sensors, then that would trigger it). If the light just comes on randomly and stays on without any flashing then the tire pressure is to low/high. Also, keep in mind, if you swapped wheels, then it takes a decent amount of miles for the ECU to realize that the sensors aren't there for the light to go on. I park my car close enough to my OEM setup that my light is reset every night (even though it's like 30 yards between multiple walls, but still works lol).

sorry for reviving an old thread, but I currently have my TPMS light on all the time. I've had the car for a week, and the day that I picked it up and PDI was performed the temp was 63 F and sunny out. since then the temps have dropped back into the mid 30s at night, and the light's been on ever since. tires are filled with Nitrogen, if that makes a difference.

Check the pressure.
