Honestly It would probably take me a few hours to make a good rear delete. I will see what I can do this weekend. I have plenty of Carbon Fiber vinyl laying around shouldn't be too bad.

TRD Griffon concept:

I don't see why you couldn't wrap carpet or Alcantara over a couple pieces of Coroplast and call it a day. Wayyyy cheaper and plenty lightweight.

I emailed these guys and got a reply within a hour. Here's what they said:

"We are still looking for a test vehicle to build the first kit. If you know of anyone willing to drop off their FRS or BRZ at our shop in Gastonia NC (near Charlotte), we can provide a free rear seat delete kit for that person."

Someone get on it!!

I admittedly don't know that much about harnesses, but that looks wrong. Not telling TRD how to do their jobs, but that looks like a recipe for spinal compression.

Shouldn't it be at 45 degrees?

0-20° so that as the driver moves forward in a collision the belt is pressing against their chest. If the angle is steaper (like this 45° setup) as the driver moves forward there is a significant amount of force from the belt straps pushing down on the driver's shoulders, compressing the spine. Depending on the setup, the belts should also either cross or at least be angled towards the center line of seat. In this setup the belts are splayed out to wherever a convenient tie-down was.

Wow i'd love to have that much trunk space in lieu of useless back seats, my dog would love me too lol

yo, i like that idea... im putting a sub on the passenger side and was gonna put the amp on drivers side. but i think i will hide the amp and make a storage compartment instead

Why would you remove the rear seat and then add weight back in?
