The cabin cools VERY quickly, and stays cool thanks to both a well-designed A/C system and the window film I had installed not long after purchase. I'm very satisfied with it.

I actually haven't had any problems with the auto or manual setting on the Limited's climate control system.

The climate control in the BRZ is the best I've had in a Subaru so far in my experience. No complaints whatsoever about the climate control and the car heats and cools extremely efficiently. Overall, I'm quite pleased with it.

Does it work as well as your Mercedes? If it does, than I'm sure I'll be pleased with it, too. The auto climate in my mom's '00 E320 works well, pick a temp and it sets it, done.

I use Full Auto all the time and it works properly for me, colder AC when it needs to and warmer when it doesn't.

I've noticed the same thing and I hate it. The AC as well as the "recycle" air comes on ever time I turn the HVAC on. I keep having to turn both off constantly.

My toyota's HVAC remembered the last setting it had before it was turned off. I would prefer it that way.

I've tried playing with the HVAC controls - setting the temperature to the eighties hoping that the AC would not turn on when the fan was turned on... still didn't work. The AC turns on EVERY SINGLE TIME!

They definitely got the car's driving dynamics right. But it's the little things like this and the poor signal quality of the nav system that are bothersome.

Mines never on I have it set so air just flows in. It is only on when it is hot as hell and im starting to sweat or when it is cold as hell and i need heat. Otherwise sometimes I want it to flow cold air in but it flows hot air... so i have to turn it on and as i expected it will be set to heat because of the auto climate (i keep it at 72 all the time) and I have to set it to around 65-68 then then it off for it to flow cold air in.

When I set all my air controls to OFF, I still feel air recirculating in the cabin at whatever temperature the climate control was set to. So if it was set to 65 before I shut it off, I still feel cold air in the cabin long after shutting it off. Or if it was at 85, I feel warm air circulating long after it's off. I feel this regardless of the cabin recirculation button being lit (outside air vent is closed) or not and regardless of temperature outside.

Anyone else experience this?

I have seen this in this car and other cars. Still blows VERY slightly when OFF.

The thing with the Limited's climate control is that you're setting cabin temp, not incoming air temp. Set it to something comfortable and let it do its thing. I have mine set to 72 and it keeps the cabin temp very comfortable. I'm happy with how the system works is both Summer and Winter.

Easy. Just hit Auto then the A/C button. It'll still change temp, fan speed, and vent direction automatically.

I just close the vents on the dash and let the HVAC take care of the rest.
