Then she saw the car... "Holy $h!t it's sexy!"

Then she rode in the car .... "Damn I hate walking so far to the entrances! But still sexy"

Now I have to buy a ring ... eventually.

What you could've done is right when she says that, open the passenger door and a ring is sitting there. How romantic. Then she'd really love the car. And then later that night you could "break the car in"

This is why I proposed first prior to buying my S2000 CR... she had no room to complain since she got her ring

She's supportive of me getting an FR-S within the next year or so since my DD is getting long in the tooth. The reason I'm holding off though is mainly due to finances since we also just got her an FJ Cruiser. Once we get some things paid down the FR-S will be next. I'm lucky though, she puts up with my car addiction and supports me on it.

I was worried about this since we've been together 7 years, but she ended up loving the car as much as me. Hell, she bought my rims for me.

Doesn't hurt that it will be hers once we get a second car (as long as I don't mod the hell out of it before hand, then it'll be a BRZ. )

Seriously! I'm trying to get all my toys finished before I consider settling down. Currently built a fixie, a baller longboard meant for 45+ mph, my motobike (Yamaha R6 ftw!), my daily beater(THAT I Love), and naturally the FR-S.

I have plans to build a downhill luge board from scratch. I figure I need a boat and some hidden land (25+ acres) to make a treehouse bachelor pad.


I've put a lot of thought into this...haha.

My GF found out about the FR-S when I told her I need a ride to the dealership to pick up the new whip. She loves it

My wife was surprised, and a bit pissed off; I'd been driving a Camry for ten years. She got over it quickly, but still teases me about my midlife crisis car. At this point I think she's actually happy to see me have something I enjoy.

Her killjoy friend still has a problem with it; some people can't stand to see someone else have fun.

What right does her friend have to have a problem with it. Unless your having an affair with her and planning on leaving your current wife for her then really how is it any of her business. Lucky I'm single and even if I wasn't it would still be my choice and would ask for a divorce from anyone who tryed to tell me what I could and could not buy. Probably going to be single for a long time. Oh well the car gets me laid.
