I have the Magnaflow cat-back, and it is quiet. I recently got to compare the sound side by side with a Perrin (un-resonated I believe), and there was a big difference at idle and an unloaded rev (we didn't have the chance to compare them under a load).

Im still leaning towards the Tsudo. Front pipe with hi flow cat, and cat back combo for $650. Looks good and sounds fairly mild.

The Magnaflow was more quiet. They were both pretty deep sounding, but the Perrin let more of the high tones and rasp through. I think that would be a little different with the resonated system.

What we need is a gathering representing these fine exhaust sytems, a decible meter and a spreadsheet. Take readings at multiple RPMs and generate a graph comparing them. If we want to get real fancy use a Dyno graph of the same systems and overlay the results.
I would love to see volume vs power comparison as the Exhaust is my first upgrade (not for a few years mind you) and I am as concerned about volume as I am power. |

Why is the Berk the loudest? It's not that loud :p I think. My daily driver measures 127dB at WOT, so I may be deaf.

This video compares the Perrin non resonated catback exhaust to stock. Even includes dB levels. Hope this helps. This video actually helped me decide to get the perrin exhaust. It sounds awesome. |

What ever happened to the Lachute catback? I've seen almost no mention of it on here since they announced it.
It seems a tad on the expensive side but sounds amazing. [ame]http://youtu.be/jS4ySez4AJo[/ame]

Because it's horrendously expensive for a cat back. That's the only reason. They make quality parts, but even in the WRX world they are still not that popular due to price, at least south of the border.
