Lol...was ran up onto the curb in front of dockside sunday night by lady changing lanes with no blinker and not looking...horrible way to find a bar but after that i needed the beer...thank god i had winter tires on for that extra height.

I would have gotten her license plate and submitted a claim against my insurance for the curb rash on my wheels after some stunt like that. You can claim that you scuffed them up badly due to her negligent driving, and that you were avoiding an accident, most insurance companies will fix it, and your premiums won't go up.

Usually you need a police report to make that stick. Unfortunately around here the drivers are so shitty that the police wont come out for something like that.. unless there's major damage or an accident.

Oh and beware VB police. They're bored.. and hungry. They'll ticket you for sneazing funny and in court you're about as guilty until proven guilty. Unless you appeal.. then that will cost you $$.

I work right behind there too.. never knew anything went down lol. I'll have to look that up.

This area is funny like that though, I keep a shotgun next to the bed and I live in a decent neighborhood in VB. Its as if there aren't any good or bad areas but its all mixed in together. Oddest place I've ever lived.

welcome

they speak the truth about shitty drivers in this area. i almost get hit everyday. 99% of those said drivers have vaginas so be esp cautious around them. im not discreminating only being 100% honest.

the FRS group doesnt meet up that often (mainly b/c its winter time) but the scion peeps meets up every weekend and sometimes multiple times a week.

google "scion faction" or go to facebook and search for the group "hampton roads scion community". really good group of guys.

Indian lakes.. close enough. Dude two weeks after I moved in, some jackass tried to break in while I was home. I scared him off by knocking on the window he was attempting to get into with the barrel of said shotgun. I never saw his face but I'm sure his drawers were full. He ran, and good thing for him and I that he did. Buckshot point blank is messy and so is dealing with the law after an incident like that.

That was late sept. 2010.. haven't had any issues since. I dont have kids and rarely if ever are any unsupervised in my house so I keep my stuff hot. There will be no load racking to scare someone off, just the flick of a safety.

What's odd is that before I bought my house I was living in Norfolk on Lens ave between Lafayette and Cromwell. Not exactly the ghetto but close enough to hear gunfire 5 outa 7 nights a week.. I never had a problem w b&e there at all. The mini shoot-out in front of the house while I was attempting to mow the lawn was what spurred me to buy a place somewhere safer.

But back on topic.. cars n coffee tomorrow! I'll be there early to get a good spot. Shootin for 0730. A couple other FRS owners will be there as well.

Mine is a daily driver.. if we even have condensation on the road in the morning it gets all funky. Its time to wipe down the interior side of the windows anyway lol.. may as well do it all at once.
