For an on topic post, I hope they figure out some type of arm rest or glove compartment for between the seats that I can put stuff in and set my arm on. I'd like them to put some foam around the button panels in the doors since they rattle depending on the music you have playing. The infotainment center really needs some buttons on it for the channels. It's a PITA to try and change channels while driving since there is no tactile feedback on the touch screen.

Don't think they are going to change anything until at least 2015.... With exception to defects here and there. Doesn't make sense to.

All i see happening for 2014 is defect fixes and maybe the rest of the colours coming to Canada.

but all we can hope for is no price hike - because they're dumb enough to try....

You clearly have not been around cars for very long lol

Every year changes are made so as to differentiate model years and force particular buyers to purchase the latest model so that they can say they have the newest version. It's usually only the brand enthusiasts that can pick up on slight model difference unless the changes are massive. You can expect that the twins will be no different.

It's usually the first year that they hold back on a lot of options as they want to test the market to see what it will bear. Toyota/Subaru now have a clear idea for projected sales and can determine which upgrades will sustain and increase the projection.

These cars will get better with time, more power and more options are on the way. You can guarantee that.

Oddly, sounds like you are agreeing with me even though you don't think I've been around cars long, lol

I actually work in a body shop. Wouldn't make sense to make changes.... I don't count minor changes like rim design, or different color trim.

Lets take the 96 - 00 Civics.... Very minor changes. Tail lamp size, different rims/hub caps, position of reflector in headlamps, and the position of knobs on dash? Only change I considered major is these years was offering of the Si in '99 - 00.

Same goes with the 86 cars. 2013 & 2014 model years will be pretty much same. 2015 will probably be when something noticeable will happen. Maybe legit STi model instead of the early adopters buying STi parts.
